Lampshade cover

Well, not everything turns out just right. This lampshade cover gave me fits!

In theory it is so simple! Straight lines – I kinda like math so all that wasn’t a problem. But something went wrong – I ended up with the seam down the middle of each panel because the shade cover ended up being HUGE! My corners look like heck – and will continue to look like heck until I have time to sew new ones. We have three lampshades this shape and they are getting old. They could all use a nice cover – mom – wanna come help me???
