W.I.P.

Did you all have a good weekend? Our weather was simply beautiful!!! We had a couple campfires and had we had a hammock I think we would have slept outside. Here is what I’ve been working on, off and on, for a few days (mostly off).

002

It is still a work-in-progress, and I’m learning a lot. My fingers start to feel like hot dogs when working with the tiny pieces of paper! I picked the word “Calm” because I wasn’t feeling very calm the day I set this up. And with school getting out this week, I think I can use all the reminders I can find to stay calm. hehe. We are all excited about the end of the school year…no more peanut butter and jelly sandwiches!!! I don’t have to make them and the kids don’t have to eat them – yippee!!! We are lucky enough to live in a town on a lake and it takes us about 3 minutes to walk to it – so I envision nice days of swimming and sitting on the grass – heaven!

Very impressive! I love the design. I think quilling might make me the opposite of calm though!

Love your paper quilling. So pretty. I especially like the Calm both for the word and the fact that it was the initials to my momma's name. She always loved to put her initials on things. It makes me smile to remember. Thanks for sharing.
