Happy Thursday!

002

I finally framed the papercuts I did a while back. You can find the papercutting patterns here, here, and here. I will hang this in my office – I’m going with a neutral color on the walls and lots of pictures. I just love this background paper, but I’m not sure it is the right color for the job…someday soon I’ll take a picture of that wall and you can let me know what you think.

In other news I made up this sachet using an old dryer sheet and some baking soda. (Click the pink word to be taken to the tutorial). I’ll be using these in the big Rubbermaid keepers where I store my out-of-season clothes. Hopefully it will keep the clothes smelling fresh and not of plastic. I have too many clothes…I have sizes bigger and smaller than what I am now. I know, I know, I should just get rid of the bigger ones…I’d just like to know why it is so much harder to lose pounds when you’re over 35 than under 35. Forty is right around the corner and I’m scared to know how things will change then.

Also Carmen wrote nice things about me on our blog Thrift Store Horror – and you get to see the before picture of these paper-mache stumps. Go check it out.

I’ve been spending a lot of time outside, our weather has been gorgeous! I’ve heard that it will soon change from warm and dry to hot and sticky so I better get back out there – Happy Crafting!!!
